The technology behind Ataria's ADaaS platform, powering autonomous drone operations as an ongoing operational service.
Custom, web-enabled applications for complex business environments which are integrated, reliable and scalable, replacing manual, paper-based or spreadsheet-driven processes with systems built around how an organisation actually works.
Rather than forcing an organisation into a fixed platform or toolset, we select the architecture, infrastructure and data model best suited to the problem at hand, then build around it with well-defined interfaces that connect the system to whatever else an organisation already runs. Every build goes through an automated pipeline for testing and deployment, so changes reach production safely and often rather than in large, risky releases. Security is treated as secure by design rather than an afterthought: role-based access control, single sign-on and full audit trails are built in from day one rather than retrofitted, so every action in the system is attributable and every sensitive screen is restricted to the people who should see it.
Our approach covers the full lifecycle: requirements analysis and functional specification, UX and database design, development and quality assurance testing, user acceptance testing with the people who will actually use the system, and a structured go-live. We then stay on as the long-term maintenance and support partner, covering bug fixes, security patching, hosting and the enhancements a system inevitably needs as an organisation's own processes evolve around it.
AI-driven systems and automation, from applied machine learning to intelligent process automation, built into existing digital infrastructure rather than bolted on as a separate tool. We work across the modern AI stack: supervised and unsupervised machine learning, deep learning and convolutional neural networks for computer vision, natural language processing for text and document understanding, and large language models for summarisation, classification and conversational interfaces, using frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch and established cloud AI services where they're the right fit for the problem.
Every engagement starts with the data: sourcing, cleaning and labelling a representative dataset, since a model is only ever as good as what it's trained on, and agreeing the accuracy or confidence threshold a client actually needs before the system goes near a real decision. From there we train, validate and tune the model against that threshold, then build the surrounding pipeline that makes it usable in production: an interface for the humans reviewing its output, a feedback loop that captures corrections, and a retraining schedule so the model's accuracy keeps pace with real-world data rather than drifting from it as conditions change.
We treat AI as one component of a wider system rather than a standalone product, integrated with the same security, hosting and support model as everything else we build.
Protecting infrastructure, data and operations, from security audits and digital forensics to the secure design of new systems from day one. Our approach draws on recognised standards and frameworks, including ISO 27001, the OWASP Top 10, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and GDPR, and covers the full range of defensive and investigative work: penetration testing and vulnerability assessment against web applications, networks and infrastructure; digital forensics and incident response when something has already gone wrong; and secure design review of new systems before they ever reach production.
We help organisations meet their obligations under European cybersecurity legislation, including the NIS2 Directive's requirements for risk management and incident reporting for essential and important entities, and the EU Cyber Resilience Act's security-by-design and vulnerability-disclosure requirements for products with digital elements, alongside existing GDPR obligations around the security of personal data. We also build secure-by-default software ourselves, applying encryption in transit and at rest, strict input validation, least-privilege access control and secure authentication, including multi-factor authentication and national digital identity schemes where relevant, as standard practice rather than optional extras.
Beyond technical controls, we run security-awareness training and capacity-building programmes that address the human side of security, since most breaches start with a person rather than a technical flaw, and we contribute to EU-funded research and training initiatives that develop new cybersecurity curricula and tools for sectors with real exposure. The result is a security posture that spans people, process and technology, and meets the compliance obligations an organisation is actually subject to, rather than a generic checklist.
Enhancing the efficiency, productivity and performance of business operations at process level, from back-office systems to the field apps that keep them fed with real-time data. We start by mapping the workflow an organisation already runs on, whatever the mix of paper forms, spreadsheets, email threads and disconnected tools, to understand where time is actually being lost before proposing a single system to replace it.
From there we design around automation wherever it removes a genuine manual step: barcode and QR-code tracking for stock and assets, automated job scheduling and assignment, document generation, and integration with the ERP, CRM, accounting or payroll platforms, such as SAGE and similar systems, an organisation already depends on, so data is entered once and reused everywhere it's needed rather than re-keyed between systems. Dashboards and reporting surface the metrics that matter to management, from job status and resource utilisation to stock levels and overdue tasks, without anyone needing to compile a report by hand.
The result is a faster turnaround between request, approval and completion, fewer errors from manual re-entry, and a clear audit trail across every process touched, giving management real visibility into operations they previously had to take on faith.
Pushing the limits of design and functionality to create a user experience that is high impact and effective, for marketing sites, e-commerce storefronts and mission-critical public-facing services alike. We build with modern frameworks such as React and Next.js on the front end, headless and traditional content management systems for teams that need to manage their own content, and design every build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standard so it works for users with a wide range of abilities, not just the majority.
Every site is responsive and cross-browser by default, tested against modern Core Web Vitals performance benchmarks so pages load fast and stay usable on a mobile connection, and built with on-page SEO and semantic markup in mind from the outset rather than retrofitted after launch. Where digital identity and secure transactions matter, we integrate national schemes such as e-ID and eIDAS, government payment gateways, and standard authentication protocols such as OAuth and SAML, so users can authenticate and transact securely without a separate login for every service.
For e-commerce specifically, that extends to secure payment processing, inventory and order management, and integration with the delivery, accounting and marketing tools a storefront depends on day to day.
Games and business applications for Android and iOS, built for real-time user engagement, interaction and functionality on the go. We develop natively, using Kotlin and Swift where a deep integration with platform-specific features justifies it, and cross-platform with frameworks such as React Native where a single codebase across both operating systems is the better trade-off, in both cases following each platform's own design guidelines so the app feels native rather than ported.
Common functionality spans geolocation and mapping, push notifications, camera and QR or barcode capture, biometric authentication, and offline-tolerant data capture and sync for field use where a reliable connection can't be guaranteed. For consumer and educational titles, we build with modern game engines and frameworks, with level-based progression, leaderboards, achievements and social sharing designed to hold an audience's attention over repeat sessions rather than a single visit.
Every app is prepared for submission and ongoing maintenance through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, including the privacy, accessibility and platform-specific review requirements each store applies, and we track each platform's evolving OS versions, device capabilities and store policies so an app keeps working long after its initial release.
Requirement analysis, customisation, deployment and ongoing support for open platforms that match client needs, built around proven, well-established functionality rather than reinventing it from scratch. We work extensively with platforms such as Moodle, Drupal and WordPress, among the most widely deployed open-source systems in their respective categories, assessing what each platform covers out of the box against the specific requirements of a project before deciding what genuinely needs custom development.
Where the core platform falls short, we extend it with purpose-built modules and plugins rather than forking or replacing the underlying system, keeping it upgradeable and supported by the wider open-source community it belongs to. Deployment covers environment setup, performance tuning, security hardening and data migration from whatever system is being replaced, assessed first to establish what's worth bringing across and what isn't.
Clients keep full ongoing control of their own content through the platform's native administration tools, while we provide the hosting, security patching, version upgrades and technical support that keep the platform current and secure over its working life, rather than leaving it to drift out of date after launch.
Learning platforms and training tools for schools, government agencies and industry, from course-management systems to purpose-built educational apps and games. Built around established e-learning standards such as SCORM and xAPI (Tin Can), these platforms support structured course catalogues, online enrolment and scheduling, assessment and quiz functionality, and certification or completion tracking suited to regulatory and compliance training as much as academic programmes.
Delivery can be fully online, in person, or blended, combining classroom sessions with self-paced online modules depending on what the audience actually needs, and content is structured so non-technical staff can create and update courses themselves once a platform is live. Where engagement is the challenge rather than content delivery, we build gamified and interactive formats, from quizzes and simulations to full platform games, since game mechanics such as progression, rewards and friendly competition consistently improve completion and retention compared with static course content, particularly for younger or less motivated audiences.
Whatever the format, the underlying goal is the same: content that's easy for the people delivering it to keep current, and easy for the people learning from it to actually finish rather than abandon partway through.
Seasus is the technology provider behind Ataria's Autonomous Drone-as-a-Service (ADaaS) platform, building the digital systems, from mission requests to flight data and security, that power autonomous drone operations for logistics, monitoring, inspection and rapid response.
The platform supports BVLOS (beyond visual line of sight) operations conducted under SORA-based (Specific Operations Risk Assessment) risk assessment and regulatory authorisation, dock-based automated launch, flight and recovery without a pilot on site, and dual RGB and thermal payloads that support both visual and low-light operation in a single pass. A client requests a mission, scheduled or immediate, through a single digital interface, while the aircraft, automation, connectivity and regulatory compliance are handled end-to-end on their behalf: no aircraft to buy, no pilots to hire, no aviation licence to obtain.
Behind that interface, the platform coordinates real-time flight data, mission scheduling and the secure storage and transmission of imagery and telemetry, built to the same security and reliability standards as any other mission-critical system we deliver. As operations have grown to include regulated, time-critical services such as inter-island medical logistics, the platform behind them has grown with them, in uptime, data integrity and security, so the technology scales at the same pace as the operational ambition it supports.
